Platform Bike Rack that Can Be Used with 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback

Question:

Hi, will the Thule outway Platform 2 bike rack fit a 2017 Honda civic sport 5 door hatchback with the factory oem dual spoilers one on the roofline and one on the hatchback lip?... will the upper feet rest on the hatchback lip spoiler or the glass?... thanks

I checked with Thule and the Outway 2 part # TH65JV that you referenced can fit the 2017 Honda Civic 5 door hatchback but it has to be the models without the trunk lip spoiler like it sounds like you have. So your best option for a platform style bike rack would be with a hitch mounted platform rack like the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z and a hitch that fits your vehicle with the part # C92UR as long as you don't have the center exhaust.

If you have center exhaust you'd have to look into a roof rack then like with the Rhino Rack roof rack part # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK485 so you could use a roof bike rack like the # RBC035.
