Mounting E-Track on Plywood Floor of Aluminum Frame Trailer
Updated 08/02/2021 | Published 08/01/2021 >
Question:
I have an aluminum frame cargo trailer for hauling my UTV. The floor is 3/4” plywood on top of the aluminum frame, I know I can drill down into the supports to mount the track, what kind of hardware should I be using to secure it? I haven’t decided yet if I’ll run the full length of the trailer or just 4’ sections under the tires. But I will be using the strap over the tires to secure the side by side. Thanks.

If you didn't want to drill down into the frame of your trailer you could use short wood screws to attach to just the plywood floor. I would recommend using a screw in every hole though for the # EM19147.
