Question:
I would like to use the e-track straps and e-track to tie down my BMW 535is on my open trailer. But, from where to front tire chocks will be installed to the end of my trailer and end of the e-track will only be 24”. Is that enough length for the ratchet to connect. All of your pictures I see on the system, the ratchet is connected much further out. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
24 inches would be enough room for the Erickson E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ 2 Ratchet Straps with Roller Idlers and 2 Wheel Chocks # EM58523-09162 to attach. The ratchet would still function just fine but your clearance above the ratchet could be inhabited if the vehicle sits lower and is above the track 24 inches back.
