Question:

I have a question about the anti rattle hitch bolt on the Hollywood Destination 2 bike hitch bike rack. I currently have a 2 1/4 hitch on my GMC Duramaxx truck. If I use a 2 inch sleeve adapter will the bolt be long enough to be effective? Also, would the lock cap still fit the head of the bolt? Thanks for your response.

There is no safe way to install your Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # HLY94FR, in your 2 1/2" hitch receiver. You will need to use a hitch reducer sleeve to carry your 2" hitch bike rack on your GMC Duramaxx truck. I recommend the Hollywood Racks Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2", part # HRHA-2. It is designed to work with your Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # HLY94FR. The nice thing about this rack is you will still be able to use your existing anti-rattle hitch bolt. It also has set screws that secure this adapter to the shank of your hitch bike rack.
