Will the Valterra ABS Tank Fill Kit Work With MDPE Resin Tanks

Question:
Will this work with MDPE resin tanks? Trying to plumb these tanks for a custom truck camper. Not sure what I need, actually!

The # RK909 Valterra ABS Tank Fill Kit with Threaded Cap is designed for ABS tanks where you have MDPE polyethylene. According to Valterra, you can use the pieces from the kit assuming they fit the holes on your tanks which you would need to measure.
The kit includes two 3/8" FPT Drain nuts and a 3/8" MPT Pipe plug. The barbed elbows have 3/8" pipe threads and the fill cap is a 1-1/2" female pipe thread cap.
As for the Weld-On 773 ABS, this cement is designed specifically for ABS. Since your tanks are made of a different material you will likely need to find something that binds to MDPE.
