It was a smart idea to check, and when we test fit the Curt Hitch # C11474 on a similar model year Volkswagen Jetta we found the distance from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper was 5 inches, and the T2 Classic requires that distance to be 3-1/2 inches or less.
