Does 2009 Nissan Xterra Require Converter For Trailer Wiring Harness?

Question:

Do I really need a converter if this includes the three relays to isolate the brake and turn signal lights? Thanks.

Your 2009 Nissan Xterra does not require a converter for a trailer connector.

It uses the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56226 which plugs into the factory connectors in the rear of your vehicle, and the included relay harness activates the circuits.
