Mounted Height Of The Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform & Backbone System

Question:
Hi there, I am wondering how high the RR1B1 backbone mounts off the roof of a Ram 1500. I am looking for a low profile rack to mount on my truck, as I need to stay under a certain height for my work parking garage. Do you have any measurements of how high the backbone rails mount off the roof? I saw that the pioneer platform is 1.5inch tall, but I need to add that to the rail height.

Expert Reply:
Rhino-Rack Backbone Mounting System for Pioneer Platform Rack part # RRRR1B1 is going to add between 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 inches to your roof and then about 1-1/2 inches for the platform. So a total of 4 to 5 inches on your roof.
