Recommended Replacement For An iRV63 RV Stereo Unit

Question:

MY TOY HAULER HAS A IRV TECHNOLOGIES 63 INSTALLED. I AM NOT ABLE TO FIND MUCH INFO ON THIS UNIT, IE MANUAL, WIRING, SCHEMATICS, REPLACEMENT UNITS. I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE INFO AND UPDATE TO A SIMILAR UNIT FROM A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER OR AN IRV UNIT WITH INFO AVAILABLE. A DIRECT INSTALL WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS

I found that the cutout hole dimensions of of your iRV63 are 6.75" wide x 4" tall x 7" depth. If you wanted to replace the unit with a similar unit I recommend the iRV RV Stereo - Double DIN - AUX/USB, Bluetooth, App Control - 270W - 3 Zone - 12V Item 292-101079. This unit does require a cutout that is a little bit larger than your iRV63 at 9" long x 5" tall x 5" deep so you will have to make alterations to your cutout. If this is not possible let me know and I can recommend a smaller unit.

The only way to have a simple plug in would be if you replaced your iRV63 with same unit # IRV64FR. I've attached the wiring diagram for the # 292-101079 and the iRV63 to help with the installation.
