Could Curt Tri-Ball Trailer Coupler Lock C48CR be Cut with Bolt Cutters

How strong is the cable and can it be cut with bolt cutters? Thanks

The pin of the Curt lock part # C48CR is steel which is a harder metal to cut, but if a thief had enough time and tools handy they could probably cut through it. But theft deterrents really are only going to be effective at stopping the casual thief. If someone had a set of bolt cutters on them like you asked about they probably would be able to cut through it relatively easily.
