Replacement Spring Bar and Head Recommendation for 1,200 lb Draw Tite Weight Distribution
Updated 05/24/2017 | Published 05/22/2017 >
Question:
I have an older Draw-tite hitch head that has 06623-099 on the bottom left of the label and v5 on the bottom right. Is there a replacement head that I could purchase to use my existing spring bars? The bars are 1200#, and I have a dual cam sway system installed as well. I would rather not have to replace the whole system, and just the head if at all possible. I know this system is obsolete, but didnt know if a new head could accommodate the existing bars or not. Thanks.

I wish we had replacement parts that would work, but the bars you have aren't compatible with the current bar designs made so it's going to come down to you replacing the head and the bars.
So for bars you would need the part # RP66009 which has the 1,200 lb capacity you need and then for a head you would want the part # RP58167.
