How Much Height To The Bunk Boards Does the Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunks Add
Updated 07/12/2021 | Published 07/09/2021 >
Question:
Im planning on installing the Dutton rollers 2, 4 foot rollers onto my 8-foot wood bunk. However, it looks like itll raise the boat close to 3 inches. Boat would then sit higher than the wheel wells and would seem like it could cause a problem securing the bow of the boat as the eye hook would be above the bow roller. Any suggestions?

The Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunks like part # DL21740 will add about 2-1/2" from the height of the bunk board. This should really not pose many issues but you may be able to adjust the bolster brackets or swap them out for a lower profile option.
I have attached a list below with some of our replacement bolster bracket options.
