Question:
We have a 1998 Rockwood pop up camper trailer with a 3” x 1” rear bumper with spare tire. No roof rack and not really planning to have one installed. What would you guys recommend for a bike rack or carrier? Thanks!

One option to avoid installing a crossbar system is to use your spare-tire mount in order to use a bike rack. For this route, I recommend the Malone Runway Spare Tire Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - Adjustable Arms # MPG2148. The Runway Spare Tire Rack for 3 bikes has a maximum weight capacity of 33-pounds per bike. In order for the Malone Runway Spare Tire Rack to fit on your 1998 Rockwood pop-up camper, the width of the tire needs to be between 8 and 10-1/2 inches wide.
For heavier bikes, a crossbar system is the way to go. I recommend the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack for Pop-Up Campers and Camper Shells - Steel - 7' Long - 150 lbs # S80510. The Roamer LT includes 2 Square crossbars that work with most clamp-on accessories such as bike, kayak, ski and cargo carriers. In addition, the Roamer LT comes with 4 feet that bolt onto your camper with drilling required. Since it looks like you have an air conditioning unit on top of your camper, I recommend installing the Roamer LT in front of the unit.
As far as a bike rack that is compatible with the Roamer LT, I recommend the Swagman Race Ready Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On # S64705. The Race Ready will be able to clamp onto the Roamer LT's crossbars and provides a per-bike weight capacity of 45 pounds. The pivoting upright arm with the ratcheting hook grabs your bike by the front wheel without attaching to the bike's frame.
If you have any other accessories, feel free to respond with the accessories you plan on using, and I would be happy to recommend compatible parts that will fit the Roamer LT.
