Dual 3500# axels... narrow wheel wells..will the AM31952 do the job? the boat is about 3000lbs...

It looks like the sidewall of your tire is stamped 185/70R14, if this is the case then the tire you have measures 24.2" tall and 7.3" wide where the Westlake ST205/75R14 # 274-000012 you were looking at measures 26.1" tall and 8" wide.
To make sure this tire will fit your trailer you will need to measure from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender and from the inside edge of the tire to the trailers frame. You will need at least 4" clearance above the tire and 1-1/2" clearance between the tire and frame for the # 274-000012 to fit.
This tire has a load rating of 2040lbs per tire at 65 PSI so it will be plenty strong for your 3000lb boat on your trailer. Since these tires are different sizes you will need to replace all four tires on your trailer.
