Can I Carry Two Hullavators On A 2019 Volkswagen Jetta

I’m trying to determine if my 2019 Jetta can handle two sets of hullavators. I have one installed already and it’s working great. I’d like to get another Hullavator so I can carry two kayaks easily.

Your 2019 Volkswagen Jetta has a roof rack weight limit of 165lbs, so your vehicle's roof will not have any problems supporting two Thule Hullavators. The issue will be the length of your crossbars. You need between 4" and 8" of excess bar length between the towers/feet and the end of your crossbar. Each Hullavator is 36" long. This means you will need a crossbar length of at least 72". The recommended crossbar length on your vehicle is 50". That means you will have an additional 11" of bar length per side on your vehicle. This is greater than the maximum 8" of excess length beyond your tower/foot you can have to transport a Hullavator on your vehicle. This is not a viable option for your 2019 Volkswagen Jetta.
