Is this light going to be the same brightness as BUL72CB or brighter?

Both the # BUL10CB and the # BUL72CB are 10 diode lamps, and therefore neither lamp would really be brighter than the other. The main difference between the two is how the light is focused. Because the # BUL10CB lamp is DOT compliant as a back-up light, the light would be more diffused over a wider area. By contrast, the # BUL72CB which is NOT certified as a back up light would have the light more focused on a smaller area. Each lamp would output a similar amount of light, but the # BUL72CB would appear brighter because the lens of the lamp focuses the light on a smaller area.
The correct lamp for you will depend on what you were wanting to use it for an whether or not your trailer needs to be DOT compliant.
