Question:

The running lights on my cargo trailer are not working. I have a 2016 2500 GMC Savana that I use to haul my 2021 cargo trailer. All the trailer lights work Stop lights, turn signal lights, hazard lights, even the interior trailer dome light expect the running lights. It has been suggested that it could be the fuse is out. Where is the fuse box located in my van? and could this be the answer? Thanks !

If everything but the running lights are working, it is most likely a fuse that is out. However, I do suggest checking your ground connections as a bad ground can do all sorts of odd things, this included.

If your grounds are all looking good, you will need to check the 11 o'clock position on your 7 Way plug with something like the # PTW2993 when the vehicle is on, and the running lights engaged. If you are not getting any power, you definitely have a fuse out.

I was unable to figure out which exact fuse handles the running lights on your 2016 GMC Savanna 2500, so I figured it would be best to check all the trailering fuses in the fuse box under the hood and under the driver seat, just to cover all the bases. I included a picture with both fuse boxes, and which fuses you will need to check
