Portable Power Watchdog Surge Protector Used From Generator to Fixed Structure

Question:
Do you know if these could be used to monitor 30a power from a generator to a transfer switch in the house. I am more interested in determining and monitoring amps and voltage to prevent overload, but the other safety features would also be nice.
