Troubleshooting Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack Where Locking Knob Just Turns

Question:

I cant remove my easy fold bike rack from the hitch. When I picked up my e-bike from being served, the dealer tightened the knob on the rack to the hitch and I think he over tightened it. Now it unlocks, but just spins and doesnt loosen to release the rack from the hitch, Any suggestions?

If the knob of your Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 just free spins that indicates that the locking mechanism is still "unlocked" and hopefully you can use your key to actually unlock it and allow the knob to engage and loosen the locking mechanism. Try different key positions and let me know if that does the trick or not.
