Does this kit include a stainless steel backing plate does the brake pad or just a steel backing?

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Stainless Steel - 3,500 lbs # K2R35S you were looking includes brake pads with the standard steel backing plate.
If you would rather have brake pads with a stainless steel backing plate then you can order the Kodiak Ceramic Brake Pads w/Stainless Steel Backing Plate # K225CPSS and use them instead of the included pads.
