Question:

I have a 2019 Mini Cooper countryman and I also have a bike rack with a 2 inch receiver. The Kuat bike rack says NOT to adapt it to a 1.25 inch hitch. The hitch loses stability when this happens. What trailer hitch should i purchase for this.

I feel that the best option for you will be to go with a different bike rack. Currently there are only 1-1/4" receivers available for your 2019 Mini Cooper.

Kuat does have bike racks that are specifically designed to work with the 1-1/4" receiver that is available for your 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman.
