I have a short bed dodge with a 8 foot camper. Can I tow a side by side using a 2 foot long reciever

Assuming that your Dodge Ram has a 2" trailer hitch receiver you may be able to tow your side by side while your 8' long truck bed camper is installed.

The longest extender we have for a standard 2" trailer hitch receiver is the Curt Extender for 2" Receivers # C45796 which is 18" long, has a tongue weight rating of 350lb, and has a trailer weight rating of 3500lbs. Keep in mind that the use a hitch adapter like the # C45796 reduces the capacities of your trailer hitch receiver by 50%, so even though the extension has the above ratings your trailer hitch receiver may not.

If this does not exceed the weight of your side by side and trailer this would be a great option.

If you need a longer extension you would need to replace your trailer hitch receiver with a TorkLift option that would allow you to use their extension. To recommend a hitch I will need to know the Year and Model of your Ram.
