Adding Heat Strip to Advent AC Unit that Does not Have Knobs on Vent Assembly

Question:
Hi I just purchased a 13.5k advent air rooftop ac. I was considering purchasing the heatstrip too but in the details it says it won’t work with a thermostat only with the control knobs on distribution box. My distribution box doesn’t have any knobs. Will this also work with thermostat or is there another heatstrip that I need. Thanks.

To use the Advent heat strip # ACMHD with your current Advent Air RV AC unit you'd need to replace your current distribution box with the part # ACDB since what you have does not have knobs.
