my boat weights 6800 lbs without fuel so add 1k , at 7800 lbs what size winch cable should i install

For a boat that weighs 7,800 lbs you'd need a winch with a capacity of at least 3,900 lbs. Which there aren't standard hand winches with that capacity so you'd need to look into an electric winch like the ComeUp part # CU644501 which has a capacity of 4,500 lbs.
This comes with a strap.
