What is Payload Capacity of 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I have a 2003 silverado 1500 c15903 reg cab 8ft bed. I have installed the bump stops and heavy duty shocks. I am looking at a truck slide in camper that weights 1756 lbs. Will my truck safely carry this camper. Thanks

I looked up the payload capacity of your 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 and found that it is between 1,288 and 2,173 lbs. So there's a good chance your truck has the capacity with the Timbrens # TDRTT1500 but it's something you'd have to verify by determining your payload capacity. You could give your VIN to a GM dealer and they'd be able to tell pretty easily.
