Kwikee Step Motor Upgrade Kit for 2000 Airstream XL 390

Question:
My motorhome is a 2000 Airstream XL 390. My steps are two steps when extended. I know it takes the A linkage. Will this kit work on my unit and is there a way to emergency retract the steps is something fails?

Since we know you have a double step and the A linkage the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 that you referenced is the correct kit.
There isn't a way to retract the steps manually.
