Question:
Can you still use the toe opener for lift gate on a 2017 Lincoln MKX ?

Expert Reply:
The hands free lift gate sensor on your 2017 Lincoln MKX will still work after installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C78KR, but it will limit where your foot needs to be placed for the sensor to work.
You will want to place your foot on either side of the receiver, and move it in and out until the sensor recognizes your foot. After doing this a few times it will become second nature on where to place your foot for the sensor to work.
I included a video of the # C78KR being installed for you to take a look at.
