Question:
I purchased the Curt echo smart brake controller 2 months ago and used it on my new 2020 Honda Pilot to tow a small travel trailer a couple times since then without any problems. Today the light in the Echo did not turn on at all. The instructions says is because there is no power coming from the 7 way connector which would indicate a problem with the 12 volt power terminal #4 black pin located at the 1:00 position. I checked for burnt fuses but all seems fine. Would you suggest any other cause for the 12v power in the 7 way connector to stop working? Would you may be advise the exact location of the fuse that would cause this issue?

Your owner's manual should show the exact location of the fuse box you need to get access to, but it will be the smaller one in the engine compartment of your 2020 Honda Pilot. The ports you will need to check are in the 2, 3 and 11 positions. These will cover the Trailer Main, Trailer Brake, and Trailer Charge respectively. If any are blown, replace and then check the 7 Way plug again. If you have power, you are good to go. If all looked good and or replacing them does not get you power, odds are you will need to replace the wiring harness.
The Curt # CU86FR will be a plug and play replacement an includes all needed parts. I included an install video of this being put on a 2020 Pilot as well.
