We offer two hitch receivers options for your vehicle. The first option is the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch - 2019 Jeep Wrangler, part # C13392. This hitch receiver has a maximum tow weight of 3500lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 350lbs. The measurement from the center of the hitch hole to the outermost point on a factory installed spare tire is approximately 8".

Our second hitch option will be the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # DT78MR. This hitch receiver has a maximum tow weight of 4500lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 675lbs. The measurement form the center of the hitch hole to the outermost point on a factory installed spare tire is approximately 7".

Those measurements will be different if you have aftermarket tires on your vehicle or if you have a different hitch receiver. If that is the case you will have to take a measurement to check compatibility. The measurement would be from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost point of your spare tire.

With this measurement you can check your rack clearance in the folded down position. For example, in order for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches, part # HLY84FR, to fit your vehicle the folded down measurement cannot be less than 7 1/2". All of our hitch rack descriptions will include this measurement under specifications in the rack description, So if you have the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch - 2019 Jeep Wrangler on your vehicle the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack would be compatible with your vehicle. But if you had the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" hitch receiver, it would not.

The Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # BA22B, will work with both hitch receivers that work with your vehicle. It offers 11 3/4" of clearance in the down position. It is a platform rack that clamps to the wheel of your bike, protecting the frame. It also tilts away from the vehicle while loaded allowing you access to the rear of your vehicle. The rack will lock to your vehicle and lock your bikes to the rack.

You can increase your clearance options by adding the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers - 8" Long, part # C45791. It will increase your the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the shank by an additional
2" which will translate to both hitch options. But using a hitch extension will reduce the maximum tongue weight on your hitch receiver by 50% This reduces that measurement to 175lbs. So the weight of your rack and your bikes cannot exceed 175lbs. With this extender you could keep the Kuat 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches option on the vehicle in the folded up position. But you would still not be able to fold the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitch on your vehicle while not in use.
