Recommended Replacement Tires for a Trailer Valet 5X

Hello, I have a trailer valet 5X with solid tires and want to change them to pneumatic tires for better traction. Since the rim splits apart, it looks like I can put an inner tube and tire on it. Is that possible? I may need to drill a hole for valve stem. Thank You.
