Question:
You have two versions of the Kwikee 28 RV step. One is $599. And this one in $483. Why the difference? The only thing I see is the amber light. This is to replace this same model on my 1997 Allegro Star.

In comparing Kwikee Lippert # LC3474453 VS # LC3747451 electric steps (28 Series), I find that the 451 is a basic electric step that goes in or out based on an in-cab switch only. The 453 model additionally includes a control unit, and magnetic door switches that automate extending and retracting the steps. As you mentioned, the 453 has a step light as well.
