Recommended Ball Mount For 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS

Question:

Hi there, The 2018 Mercedes GLS manual specifies that the drawbar and ball should be 7.5inch from the pinhole to the middle of the ball. The manual also illustrates maximum rise/ I believe - please see photo. How can I tell which drawbars/balls are appropriate? I can tell on your listing what the rise/ is, but not what the pinhole-to-ball measurement would be. It needs a 2inch ball. Thank you!

Based on the diagram you provided it appears you will need a ball mount that is not more than 7-1/2" long from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, and has between a 2-3/4" drop and a 2" rise.

For a ball mount that falls in that range we have the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches - 2" Ball - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 7.5K # C45534 which measures 7-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, and has either a 2" rise or 3/4" drop. This ball mount includes a 2" hitch ball, a standard hitch pin and clip, and a locking hitch pin and clip.
