Is Thule Hullavator Compatible With 24 Inch Crossbar Spread of 2017 Cadillac XT5

Question:

My little SUV doesn’t have crossbars and I understand I’ll need after market bars that extend at least 4” beyond the rack for the Hellavator. My question is the location of the bars on the roof would only be 27” apart. Is this distance enough to support this wonderful product? Essentially the first bar would be abound the drivers head and the second bar only 1/2 of the distance of the roof.

The Thule # TH898 Hullavator is compatible with crossbar spreads of at least 24 inches, so the 27 inches you have to work with would work perfectly.

For crossbars, I'd recommend the JetStream roof rack from Yakima, which would consist of the following parts:

• 60 Inch JetStream Crossbars, # Y00426
• Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack Towers, part # Y53TR
