I Have a Solara 18 Volt power awning. I want to install a inside switch to move the awning. I was thanking or the LC285500 switch. Can this be done and still charge the battery. If not do you have any suggestions?

The Solera switch part # LC285500 that you referenced was designed to fit all Solera power awnings so it would work well to give you an inside switch to extend and retract. This would not affect the batteries ability to charge either.
