Question:

What do I need for my 2021 Ford Ranger in order to tow 4 down. I have a Blue Ox tow bar and a Blur Ox brake buddy. What parts do I need to set it up. Thanks.

To go with your Blue Ox tow bar you'll need compatible base plates like the Blue Ox # BLU77XR you were looking at. These base plates have removable arms to give you a clean looking front end when you're not towing and are compatible with most Blue Ox tow bars. In addition to base plates, tow bar and supplemental braking, you also may need safety cables, tow bar wiring and a high/low adapter.

For the tow bar wiring I recommend using the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode Kit # RM-154, which will provide you with a solution for your towed vehicle lights to work in conjunction with your RV's. If your tow bar does not have safety cables integrated then you can add them with the Curt 84" Coiled Cables # C23CR, which are a nice solution that won't drag on the road because of the coiled design.
