Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch Generator/Shore Power

Question:
So I would wire this switch after my Generator transfer switch correct? Also even with this switch I will still need to turn off my charge controller so that it doesn’t create a loop correct? Or will this switch take care of that issue?

Not knowing how your current components are wired it is difficult for me to state that with confidence. However, detailed instructions are provided showing the proper integration of this ATS into your system. The Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch, # 34270278, is intended to automatically change from operating your systems off the inverter shifting to shore power when you hook up at the campground. It will protect your electrical system from AC power back feed. If properly wired, follow the instructions provided, it will sense the potential of shore power and automatically draw from that energy source; switching between two or three separate 120/240 volt AC input sources, including shore power, generators, onboard inverters, or all three. The ATS will sense the presence of available power supplies and automatically select the proper choice.
