Question:
i have a 2013 chevy cruze. I purchased this kit and was trying to figure out what tow bar would fit this. The worry i have is with the removable base plates do i need a bar that ties them both together?

The Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate Kit, 523168-1, that you purchased is compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars. I recommend using a Roadmaster tow bar because tow bars from other manufacturers are not directly compatible with Roadmaster base plates and an additional adapter would be required.
I have attached a link to all of the Roadmaster tow bars for you to check out. Each of these tow bars come with a bar to tie the removable draw bars together.
The tow bar that I would recommend is the Falcon 2 Tow Bar, # RM-520. This is our most popular Roadmaster tow bar that we carry. It uses the quick disconnect base bar and telescoping arms to make it easier to hook up and disconnect to your Cruze. I have attached a link to the installation instructions for you to check out as well.
