Question:

A friend who bought a trailer for his kayaks sold me the following items very cheap - Thule Hullavator with Thule arb53b 5052233 bars and Thule Rapid Traverse foot pack. I have a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas with factory side rails. Can you tell me what foot Thule foot pack I would need to install these on my Atlas? I am assuming I will need different ones, since these are for a bare roof. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Yes, you will need a new foot pack for your 2019 Volkswagen Atlas since the kit you have is for a naked roof. You will want to go with the Thule Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 which will allow you to mount your Thule Aeroblade ARB53B onto the factory side rails of your Atlas.

Just keep in mind that you will need to measure and make sure the crossbars will hang over your side rails by a minimum of 4" on each side as the Thule Hullavator # TH898 requires this. I attached a helpful demonstration video for you to check out.
