Does Replacement Mounting Bracket for Yakima SlimShady Roll-Out Awning Lock to Base

Question:
Hello What keeps the Replacement Mounting Bracket for Yakima SlimShady Roll-Out Awning in place and secure from theft off off the Yakima mounting clamps themselves?? As I dont see any bolts to secure them to the clamps, what keep them in place or is it just a firm enough fit when you slit them on the clamps?? Thanks

The fit of the # 8880736 is very tight to the lower base it attaches to and is mostly covered when the awning is installed. Since both of the brackets would have to come off at the same time it would take a thief who knew the awning setup very well and was pretty determined to remove it.
