Question:

Hi folks. Im shopping for a rack for my Jeep. Both our bikes have front and rear fenders. I dont see how the swing arms that ratchet down to hold tire would work. Any other rack you think would work. Thanks

Sometimes, the wheel attachment ratcheting straps can damage bikes that have front and/or rear fenders. For this reason, I recommend getting a bike rack that attaches to the bike's frame instead. The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # TH903202 is great because it will attach at the frame while giving you a 65 pound per bike carrying capacity for electric bikes. It is important to note that if there is any spare tire on your wrangler, the measurement from the center of hitch pin hole to the face of your spare tire must be less than 8 inches. Some women's, children's, and alternative frame bikes require an adapter bar to mount. To fix this issue, I recommend the Kuat Adapter Bar # UB01.
