Troubleshooting Brake Lines Under Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement On 2013 Ford F53 Motorhome
Updated 04/15/2021 | Published 04/13/2021 >
Question:
I installed the Timbrens on the rear of my 2013 F53 and they are going to hit the brake line and clips the lines are in. Is it ok to move the line out of the clips to a safer area? If I do, is there a way to secure the lines to that area on the axle?

I reached out to my contact at Timbren and this is something that is not all that uncommon.
If the brake lines on the axle of your 2013 F53 Chassis are underneath the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement # TFRF53A you can carefully bend them out of the way so they will not be underneath the spring when it contacts the axle.
There is not a replacement clip set that will secure the lines in the new location so if the lines are pretty stiff and out of the way using no clips is fine, or you may need to use a few zip ties to keep them out of the way if they keep wanting to go back underneath the spring.
I included a video of the # TFRF53A being installed for you to take a look at.
