Upgrading a B&W Companion to a Vehicle With a Factory Puck System

I have this hitch installed on my 2004 dodge. If I were to purchase a 2021 Ram with the puck system installed, is there a way to use this hitch? Or do I have to purchase an entirely different set up with the round gooseneck ball ?

One of the nice things about B&W, is they do not mess with the design of their hitches very often, if at all. If you do upgrade your vehicle to a 2021 Ram 2500 with the 6 1/2 foot bed and the factory puck system, you would not need to replace the entire hitch. The B&W Replacement Slider Base # BWRVB3670 would accept your current head and would lock right into the pucks.
That being said, if you were to get one that did not come with the factory puck system, you could go with a B&W Turnoverball system like # BWGNRK1320 and use your current B&W Companion # BWRVK3400-5W in its current set up.
