Can I Put Locks on the Curt Roof Cargo Basket?

Does the P1030 fit threw the thread on the roof basket? I know if probably have to get 8 of these, but was wondering since there is screws on top. Looking for anti theft item

The Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115 has U-bolts with 6mm by 1 inch threading so this would not fit the threading on the locking knob # P1030. Also, using a locking knob is not recommended since the remaining u-bolt length after mounting them to your cross bars may not be enough for a different knob.
There is an easier solution though than dealing with 8 locks! You can use a strap lock like # LS901 or a Rightline lock # RL100640 to secure the cargo basket to your crossbars.
