The product information says Class 1 hitch compatible, but further down in the description it lists only Class 2. Can you confirm that this hitch bike rack is safe for Class 1 hitch?

While I have some options for your 2013 Honda Fit with a Class I hitch, I can confirm that the Swagman XTC2 bike rack is not recommended for Class 1 hitches.
A better fit for your Fit would be the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 # HLY94FR which is a great lightweight and affordable option. I love how versatile it is with it's rotating frame mount as well as how I can lift it with one hand.
