Question:

Hi, with the smallest door option being 16”x16” for the Furrion tankless. How does the door attach to an opening that is basically 13”x13” ?

You can still use the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU # FR93FR with the Access Door for Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - 16" x 16" # FR43FR, but in order to do so, you would need to modify the size of the opening to ensure a fit, as mentioned in the instructions, which I have linked for you below.

That would be the only way to ensure you get the proper fit to mount the access door. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well.
