Question:

I own a 2020 Buick Envision and have purchased a Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar 522 along with a Roadmaster Baseplate 523196-5 for flat towing. We have a 2020 Tiffin Allegro RED 33-AA and I assumed the factory provided mudguard that runs the width of our motorhome behind the rear wheels, would protect the front of our car. Unfortunately I noticed on our first trip that there are minor chips in the paint near the grill due to small rocks I assume. I was traveling primarily on interstate and not more than 60 mph. The Roadmaster Guardian RM-4000 Rock Guard looks like it would provide good protection with easy on and off while traveling. Can you tell me if it’s compatible with my hitch and baseplate? Thanks!

The Roadmaster # RM-4000 "Guardian" rock guard you mentioned only works with a "crossbar" style base plate system. Same with the # RM-4700 "Tow Defender." (Also works with some other crossbar base plate systems by other companies.) However the Roadmaster Tow Defender # RM-4750 will work with "direct connect" style base plates systems such as the Roadmaster # RM-523196-5 that you have installed on your Buick.
