Question:
I have a Truxedo Truxport on my F150 and I am, so far, very disappointed. I obviously did not buy this as a security feature, but was more looking for a weather resistant cover and something to help with aerodynamics and a small boost in fuel economy. At any speeds above 50MPH this thing flaps and moves quite a bit and I can feel it drag on my truck at highway speeds. Ive had it adjusted and sealed professionally there were small gaps at the bulkhead seal and I think it helped somewhat. When pulling tight, the velcro appears to be past the rails slightly so it is not fully engaged. In any case, its very loud and annoying. Does the Sentry or Sentry CT vibrate, rattle, and shake at highway speeds? If it makes noise, I see little benefit in making the change. Are there better options to meet my needs without breaking the bank? P.s. I have a video I can show as well but wasnt sure I could post it.

Sorry to hear about the noise, and that is one issue that can occur with a soft tonneau cover on occasion, and we do have some options like the Sentry covers you mentioned that are all within the same price range that won't have the flapping noises you are hearing. Each of the following will fit your 2020 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed:
- TruXedo Sentry Hard Tonneau Cover # TX1597701
- TruXedo Sentry CT Hard Tonneau Cover # TX1597716
- BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK39329
These are each the hybrid style of tonneau cover - roll-up covers that are technically hard tonneaus. And the reason yo aren't going to hear any noise with these like you would with a traditional soft tonneau is their vinyl cover is bonded to aluminum slats, which means the tensioning that is used with a standard soft cover isn't required for these. So these covers won't stretch or get loose like with a soft cover.
These covers also sit lower than a soft cover, with the Sentry covers sitting 1/2" above your bed rails, and the Revolver X2 sitting flush with the rails. Between these three, that's one of the reasons I really like the Revolver X2 # BAK39329 the most. It will sit lower so it is the most aerodynamic, doesn't use Velcro like the Sentry covers (which can wear over time) as it has its own side rails, and has a latching system at the tailgate so it always shuts firmly and securely so there will be no flapping or drag.
Each of these options will give you a quieter ride, though like I said, I do think the Revolver X2 # BAK39329 will be the best. I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out as well of each cover.
