Question:
I’m wanting to put a roofnest sparrow xl on my 2006 Honda Element. What setup would you recommend installing on top that could carry it? The stock crossbars aren’t strong enough.

It looks like your 2006 Honda Element has fixed mounting points, so you'll need to make sure that the center of each mounting point is at least 28" apart to use a Roofnest Sparrow tent. For a roof rack I recommend using the Yakima Roof Rack for 2006 Honda Element that uses parts # Y00426, # Y53TR and # Y00229, which will give you a durable roof rack capable of carrying the Sparrow XL. This system uses aerodynamic crossbars that will limit wind noise and you can add locks with part # Y07204 to keep the bars secured to your vehicle.
I've linked a review video of this system for you to check out.
