Yes the Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # SA805BL is confirmed to fit your 2009 Pontiac G6 Convertible. Saris does note that you should not operate the convertible top or open the trunk when the bike rack is installed.

With that being said, this is an excellent bike rack at a very affordable price. It has a weight capacity of 35lbs per bike and the carrier itself is very lightweight at only 9lbs, making it easy to install and use with one person. Keep in mind that you will need to use an adapter bar such as # HRBA-PRO if you plan on hauling oddly-shaped bikes such as women's, children's, or step-thru bikes.
