Can Ram Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter part # KPG5-R25 Install in Any Orientation

Question:
I have an older gooseneck trailer, a 1992 Titan, and the gooseneck tube has no holes in it for a load-bearing pin it just has 2 set screws, on the side of the outer tube not on the front. Can this adapter be rotated so the pin holes are oriented roughly fore-and-aft, so the holes wont interfere with the set screws?

The Ram Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter part # KPG5-R25 can install in basically any orientation you'd like. If you preferred the set screws on the side of the tube or in front that would easily work well.
